DESCRIPTION
Lemax series are self-adhesive, cold-applied, elastomeric SBS modified bituminous waterproofing membranes, reinforced with a non-woven polyester mat. The upper surface is covered by sand or polyethylene film. Other laminations are also available.
On the underside surface is the high quality easily removable release paper, which protects the adhesive side of the membrane during storage in roll form and will be removed on application.
A selvage provides excellent adhesion at overlaps and ensures the continuity of the waterproofing membrane system.
FEATURES
1. Self-adhesive membranes are cold applied with no need for special tools. Minimum fire risk as no propane gas torch is required.
2. SBS rubberized compound is self-proteected and self sealing to minor punctures. And the membranes can absorb substrate movement.
3. Fast and easy bonding to the primed concrete substrate. Laying process is safe, rapid and clean.
4. Uniform thickness avotds the “thin spots”. where leaking takes place, commmonly found in liquid waterproofing systems.
USES
Suitable for flat or pitched roofs, vaults, foundations, retaining walls, basements, balconies, bridge roadways and viaduets, tunnels, tanks, pools, tubes, and ramps.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. The conerete surface where the membranes are to be applied should be free voids, dirt, dust, grease, loose or coarse aggregates, and sharp protrusions.
2. Store and transport the membranes vertically against weathering and temperature extremes. Do not lay down the membranes horizontally during storage. Avoidstacking or overlapping of loose rolls.
