Description
The PANDA waterproof membrane is an elastic plastic film ideal for continental climates (cold and hot). In the manufacturing process, PANDA film is a combination of thermoplastic APP (Athactic Polypropylene) and fiberglass mesh or non-woven polyester fiber that enhances the bearing capacity, elasticity and shrinkage of bitumen film.
Fields of application
PANDA films can be applied to all areas where water can affect structures such as baseboards, foundations and basements. PANDA membranes can also be applied to the outside walls of basements, balconies, terraces, bathrooms and toilets.
In addition, PANDA membrane can be applied to reservoirs, artificial ponds or diaphragms with a cost-effective solution and high aesthetics.
Properties
PANDA film has good adhesion after application and is the solution for all waterproofing applications, especially in basement applications. PANDA films can be glued on all different surfaces like wood, cement and metal. PANDA membranes show enhanced elasticity withstanding horizontal and vertical structural variations. It is also resistant to structural variation and other structural expansion. PANDA films do not melt in hot weather nor hard in cold conditions and can be easily glued with a torch. It is easily cut with a knife to the required size. It is suitable for applications in concrete structures, handrails and chimneys subject to expansion. They are as durable as the life of a building if applied correctly.
Storage and Protection
The rolls of bituminous membranes should be stored in vertical manner. Additionally during the transportation they should be placed vertically.
Simself membranes should not be placed in overlapping manner preventing the heavy load on the rolls.
Membranes should be protected from freezing and sunlight (ultraviolet light).
They should be kept away from heating sources. They must be protected from sudden temperature changes.
